Higher Level Teaching Assistant - HLTA job summary
- Experience of leading a classroom and lesson planning is essential
- Willingness to move around school (nursery – Year 6) is essential
- Experience of working with children with SEN children is desirable
- Level 4 HLTA qualification or equivalent is essential
- Willingness to undertake further training is essential
- GCSE’s in Maths and English or equivalent are required for this post

Ashlands Primary School is a 2 form entry school for children aged 3 - 11 that has been serving families of Ilkley for more than 50 years. We are located in the centre of Ilkley, on the A65 and we have a before and after school club which means we are open from 7.30am - 5.30pm
At Ashlands Primary we organise what we do in school around the needs of the community. We focus our provision on the education of the whole child: academic, spiritual, emotional, cultural and physical.
