Do you have specialisms in areas such as DT, Music, RE or alike? If so, then Copperfield Academy could be the school for you! We are seeking to appoint someone for maternity cover from January 2025 initially until 31 August 2025 or until the post holder returns.

Copperfield Academy is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed HLTA who is:

  • passionate about securing positive outcomes for children.
  • highly motivated, organised, and flexible in the way you work to best meet children’s needs.
  • an effective communicator, highly skilled in building positive relationships with children, parents/carers, and professionals.
  • able to utilise planning and resourcing when covering a class.
  • reliable, flexible, and willing to support the school in moving children’s learning on

The successful candidates will:

  • Have a Level 2, or above, in English and Maths
  • Have previous experience of working effectively within a school setting.
  • Have a good standard of written and spoken English and a general understanding of Maths!

    Copperfield is an old and long-established Northfleet School, having opened as Dover Road School in 1904.
