Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) job summary

The North Herts Education Support Centre (NHESC) is currently recruiting for a HLTA to work with KS3 and KS4 students.

The NHESC works with young people who have been excluded or at risk of permanent exclusion from mainstream schools. Our job is to re-engage them with education so that they can have a successful future.

To be successful in this role, the applicant must be a strong team player who can work off their own initiative whilst remaining a confident, empathetic and positive character in the Centre.

You will be joining a dedicated team of inspirational educators who always put children at the heart of everything they do.

The ideal candidate may have a degree and looking to train as a teacher. (A degree is preferable, but not essential.)

We are willing to invest in the training and support of the successful candidate whilst training for Qualified Teacher Status. You may have completed a degree a while ago and are looking for a new venture in Education. If so, come and meet us to discuss the opportunity further.
