Higher Level Teaching Assistant HLTA job summary

We are looking for an applicant who:

• holds an HLTA qualification
• has experience of supporting children across the school, with the ability to inspire and motivate
• has worked with children with SEN and understands appropriate adaptations
• is supportive of children who have difficulties managing emotions and can use effective strategies
• is nurturing; we use restorative and reflective principles to develop self-regulation and recognise emotions
• is calm, flexible and resilient; is enthusiastic, creative and willing to get involved
• has the ability to develop positive and caring relationships with children
• good organisational skills, as well as flexibility and a sense of humour
