Higher Level Teaching Assistant HLTA job summary
We are looking for an applicant who:
- holds an HLTA qualification
- has experience of supporting children across the school, with the ability to inspire and motivate
- has worked with children with SEN and understands appropriate adaptations
- is supportive of children who have difficulties managing emotions and can use effective strategies
- is nurturing; we use restorative and reflective principles to develop self-regulation and recognise emotions
- is calm, flexible and resilient; is enthusiastic, creative and willing to get involved
- has the ability to develop positive and caring relationships with children
- good organisational skills, as well as flexibility and a sense of humour

You will work closely with the SLT and class teachers, managing challenges and maintaining relationships across the primary age range.
