Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) with EFYS experience to join Stone Lodge Academy, to support transition for 1 student in Key Stage one, two days a week. This would be a suitable position for someone to move to a specialist SEND setting.
You will work as part of a close-knit and supportive SENDAT team to provide a safe and secure educational and caring environment for students with moderate learning difficulties. You will help ensure that they receive specialist teaching and support tailored which meets their individual needs and facilitates their academic progress and personal development, by supporting the student in the classroom activities and bespoke activities to support their transition.
SENDAT GRADE / SP: SP9-13
CONTRACT: 15 hours per week / 39 weeks per year
WORKING ARRANGEMENTS: Monday and Tuesday per week - 08:30 to 16:30
Includes 30 minutes unpaid break each day
