What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated HLTA to join our happy and forward-thinking school to work flexibly by supporting teaching and learning of pupils across all year groups. You will find a committed and hardworking team of teachers and teaching assistants who strive to achieve the very best.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a commitment to providing the very best for all children, every day
  • Has a positive “can do” attitude
  • Understands the ways in which children learn and is able to adapt learning to best support the needs of children
  • Attainment of the Higher-Level Teaching Assistant standards or qualified teaching status
  • Excellent spoken & written literacy skills and strong numeracy skills
  • Has ability to deliver excellent lessons in all curriculum subjects
  • Can build positive relationships with all members of the school community and is confident talking to staff and parents about children’s learning and progress.
