What skills and experience we're looking for

The Governors of Hordle CE (VA) Primary School are delighted to announce a vacancy for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant. Applicants for this role will hold either the HLTA qualification or QTS.

The duties of the HLTA will include adopting whole class responsibility in the absence of the class teacher. This will include the adoption of an area of specialism, marking, planning and some assessment, working alongside the teaching team in designing and delivering high quality learning opportunities for the children.

This role is particularly well suited to teachers who wish to continue to work in the classroom but on longer wish to have the additional peripheral demands of being a teacher.
