What skills and experience we're looking for

  • Educated to at least Level 2 Maths and English, but ideally educated to A-Level or Degree Level
  • Previous experience of working with children/young people, with a real interest in working with this age range
  • Previous experience of working with children/young people with special educational needs
  • A commitment to motivate and inspire young people, supporting them to overcome any barriers
  • Good ICT skills and practice
  • You will be committed to personal learning and development, and have a sincere commitment to sharing our long-term aims and drive

Leigh Academy Bexley has a rare and exciting opportunity to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and experiencedHigher Level Teaching Assistantto join our highly collaborative and supportive team. Our teaching support team is pivotal to our success in the classroom and provides a great deal of support for our teachers, and this position for an HLTA will strengthen the team even further with their knowledge, experience and additional support that they can provide our teaching staff with. Our successful candidate will be able to establish strong working relationships with staff and students alike, be able to work as part of a team and will be reliable and excellent communicators.This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic and motivated individual who:
