What skills and experience we're looking for

You will complement the professional work of teachers. This may involve planning, preparing and delivering some individual learning activities or short term support for whole classes. You will monitor, assess, record and report on students’ achievement, progress and development. You will also manage a team of Specialist Support Assistants including allocation and monitoring of work, appraisal and training.

You will work collaboratively with all other school staff in order to create and maintain outstanding opportunities for our students’ academic progress, care and therapeutic learning support and promotion of enrichment and life skills development. You will also work closely with the students’ families and other professionals.

You must:

• Meet the person specification

Class Teachers - Main Scale + SEN (London fringe) A Class Teacher for primary SEMH cohort Full time. Preferably September 2023 start As class Teacher you will offer outstanding teaching to a small class of students and lead a team of support staff in the class, including performance management of the Higher Level Teaching Assistant. You must have UK QTS and SEN teaching experience or a keen interest in developing in this field. Teaching includes planning, preparation, delivery, assessment, evaluation and reporting responsibilities. You will work collaboratively with all other school staff in order to create and maintain outstanding opportunities for our students’ academic progress, care and therapeutic learning support and promotion of enrichment and life skills development.
