Hours: 32.5 hours per week, 38.4 weeks per year

The role:
We are looking for a passionate, motivated and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work in partnership with teaching and other educational support staff across school but based predominantly in EYFS and initially, although this may vary at times. You will provide learning support for pupils, working with them as directed by teaching staff or individually as required in accordance with academy policies and procedures. To ensure the very best quality support for our children, the successful candidate will also be expected to complete a level 4 HLTA qualification (supported by the school) within the first academic year of employment, this is an essential aspect of the role (if not already held).
The ideal candidate should:
* Have excellent people and communication skills
* Be flexible to adapt to changing situations
* Have suitable experience in a similar role within a school
* Be patient, caring, fun and have the children's education and wellbeing at the forefront of their mind
* Ideally, Level 3 qualified in a relevant subject
* With the support of the school, be willing to undertake a Level 4 HLTA qualification within the first academic year of employment
