Orchards Academy's aim is to work with students, parents and the wider community to provide a safe, supportive and stimulating learning environment where high expectations and levels of challenge enable our students to achieve academically, socially and emotionally so they can make a positive contribution to society.

The successful candidate will act as a link between the school, pupils and their families and statutory teams and agencies so that barriers to learning and attendance are identified, supported and removed. Developing positive relationships with parents, guardians and carers to encourage continuous parental engagement. The role will have a large classroom support base to the position. The applicant would need to have good organisational and time management skills and have the ability to be flexible to meet the presenting needs of the children on a daily basis.

Hours: 8.00am to 4.00pm Monday to Thursday, and 8.00am to 3.30pm on Fridays term time only plus inset days (37 hours per week)
