Overview of the role:

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated HLTA to work with the teaching and learning team and the Senior Leadership Team at the school to support pupils, promote best practice, and contribute to the aims and ethos of the Trust and its schools. This post is 0.5 days and is fixed term until  31st July 2024 with the possibility of going permanent.

Candidates should be ambitious and passionate professionals, who will add value to our school in striving to help deliver personalised learning that prepares our pupils for the next stage in their life and who is:

  • Qualified at the appropriate level (HLTA qualification)
  • Committed to driving high standards and expectations of performance
  • Able to have fun/enthusiasm/passion for learning and enjoy working with a cross section of children

  • Well organised; willing to go the ‘extra mile’ and have a ‘can do’ approach
  • Able to raise aspirations, expectations and achievement of all children
  • Able to form excellent relationships with all pupils and develop good credibility with learners
  • Open to change and develop practice through piloting new strategies in the classroom
  • Able to have the ability to communicate effectively with all staff, students and parents

The postholder will be part of our school support function of the school and play a large part in delivering a high-quality education to the learners that attend our schools.
