What skills and experience we're looking for
Ability to demonstrate awareness/understanding of equal opportunities and how this may impact accessibility
Ability to form positive working relationships with children.
Ability to communicate tasks and instructions clearly to children.
Ability to adapt planning to meet the needs of all students
Ability to develop knowledge and understanding of strategies used to support children.
Awareness of need to continue own professional development
Experience working in a primary school
Experience of leading or delivering planned lessons to small or larger student groups.
Level 2 qualification in English and Maths (GCSE or equivalent)

Queen Eleanor Primary Academy has served the community of Far Cotton since 1952. It is situated on the edge of the local recreation ground, just a short walk from Delapre Abbey. The school converted to an academy in September 2013, sponsored by Creative Education Trust. The school was judged as continuing to be a Good school in March 2023. There are currently 230 pupils in the school, approximately 35% of whom are eligible for free school meals. Over 60% of the children speak English as an additional language. The school is a vibrant community where excellence, diversity and creativity are routinely celebrated. Visits to the school are highly recommended.
