Due to a promotion a great opportunity has arisen for a talented Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our successful team at Shepherdswell Academy, part of East Midlands Academy Trust. We are seeking to recruit a driven, enthusiastic, ambitious and caring HLTA to our fantastic team!


We are looking for someone with recent and relevant experience within a primary setting to provide cover in classes at Shepherdswell Academy, delivering planned lessons each week, as well as providing whole class, group and individual support to the children. Alongside this we are looking for this person to become a reading ambassador across the school, being the voice of our children and working with the English lead to promote reading ensuring all children make excellent progress and develop a real love of reading.


You will need to:


·        Be a good practitioner who has HLTA experience or wants to take that next step in their career


·        Have high standards and expectations


·        Have the ability to work as part of a team or sue your own initiative


·        Be flexible and have the ability to adapt

Shepherdswell is a two-form entry infant school on the Springfield Estate in Milton Keynes with capacity for 180 children across foundation stage and key stage one and a six-pupil place social communication department.
