Contract: Permanent, 32.5 hours per week, Term Time + 5 days

Salary Scale: HLT Scale 5, point 12-17 (£26,421 - £28,770)

Pro-rata salary : £19,935 - £21,708

We are searching for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to provide support to children and staff, contributing to high standards and achievements.

What does a Higher Level Teaching Assistant do?

In a nutshell;

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant you will play a crucial role in supporting teaching and learning. You will work closely with teachers and pupils, helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. 1:1 work may be required at times. You will complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities. This may involve planning, preparing and delivering learning activities for the pupils and monitoring, assessing, recording and reporting on children’s progress and development.

- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and assist them in the whole planning cycle and the management and preparation of resources

- Have extensive phonics knowledge and are confident delivering phonics interventions
