What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to recruit a motivated, friendly and professional person to join our small and supportive team. Ideally you will need to hold a recognised qualification for this role or have experience in delivering learning. However, if you are currently working as a Teaching Assistant and are ready to undertake your Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification then you will be considered for this role. If you are ready to develop your career and we will support you in achieving the qualification either by an on line course or through the University of Northampton. Maybe you are a teacher who has decided to step away from the pressures and responsibilities but still want to remain in a classroom setting inspiring children.
We are a small team therefore you will need to be a great team player with a positive attitude and wiliness to take part in the whole school community. The role is to complement the delivery of learning within the classroom and supervise classes with the support of another Teaching Assistant during short term absence of teachers including PPA cover.
We would prefer one person to work 5 days per week, 30 hours per week. However, we will consider a job share option.
