Are you looking to gain classroom-based experience before starting your Teacher Training?
We are seeking an enthusiastic, innovative and highly motivated Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to join our growing team of staff in a supportive and team-orientated School graded as ‘Good’ in all categories. (Ofsted June 2018).
The role is to provide assistance to the teaching departments by delivering lessons prepared by the teachers. We want to her from you if you have an interest in teaching or had a previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, Cover Supervisor, Volunteer or Youth Leader with secondary aged children.
The successful candidate will be someone who is excited about contributing to the development of Teaching and Learning, committed to making a difference to the lives of the students, resilient with a strong personal drive and someone who can forge positive relationships with students and encourage great learning in the classroom. As part of our Induction Programme, full training will be given on our classroom procedures and protocols.
You will join a dedicated, highly skilled and committed staff upholding high expectations of and aspirations for all of our students.
This is a responsible and rewarding role and can be a great stepping stone into teacher training.
Salary Details: £20,732 – £22,105 per annum (Pro Rata £28,226 - £30,095)
