What skills and experience we're looking for

The Castle @ Theale is a brand new provision for students aged 11-19 with SEMH and ASD run by The Castle School. As we develop our exceptional curriculum pathways, our team is growing. Do you want to be part of shaping its future?

You will work closely with class teachers to create exceptional learning environments and support the delivery of an exciting curriculum in a truly therapeutic setting. You will have experience of working with SEMH/ASD children and a passion for person centred learning and therapeutic approaches.

You will support the needs of pupils as individuals or in small groups throughout the day.You will be required to help implement educational plans and provide assistance with programmes devised by other professionals and therapists.

You will need to have excellent people skills and a warm and caring personality. The ability to communicate effectively with pupils, parents and other staff is essential. A wide range of training and development opportunities are available and all staff are encouraged and supported to take up these opportunities.

This position will be based at our Theale site RG7 5BZ.
