Are you an HLTA looking for a new opportunity? Or an experienced TA looking for your next career move?


Our team currently has a vacancy for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant. This is a great opportunity to contribute towards the continued success of Victoria Primary Academy and its pupils.

 

In this role you will be:

  • Leading whole class teaching to cover for class teacher PPA or leadership release
  • Working with groups of pupils within the classroom
  • Running intervention groups outside the classroom


Your work as part of the wider team will be integral in helping to raise standards of achievement for all pupils.

You may already have experience as a Teaching Assistant and be ready to step up to a more senior role. You will have a relevant Level 4 qualification and be ready to apply your knowledge in our warm and welcoming primary setting to support pupils, teachers, and the academy.  


If you have:

·        Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths

·        NVQ Level 4 (or equivalent)

·        A qualification in a relevant subject (e.g. Higher Level Teaching Assistant standards)

·        Previous experience of working as a Teaching Assistant

·        A flexible and responsive approach, with the ability to address potentially challenging situations

·        A commitment to deliver first class support to staff and pupils
