We are looking for an individual who has experience and knowledge of the English curriculum, phonics teaching and strategies to support students with additional needs.
The role involves team teaching with our English teachers, small group or 1:1 interventions, in-class coaching, and the implementation of strategies to motivate and support students to become successful learners. We're at a really exciting point at Pilton with our development of literacy support - we'd love for the successful candidate to be involved with this.
The Break, lunch and other extra-curricular duties are included within contracted hours as necessary, and the successful applicant must have the capacity and willingness to have some flexibility in start and finish times of the day to facilitate support-base provisions and team needs. This role also has a requirement to cover lessons across the school as necessary.
