History Teacher job summary

We are looking for a passionate and inspiring qualified History Teacher, with the ability and willingness to also teach another Humanities subject, to join our supportive and talented team at Bristol Brunel Academy.

Full Time, Permanent, M1 – UPS3, available from 1 September 2022

Your opportunity:

The Academy places staff development at the core of what we do. We provide excellent training and development opportunities within the academy and federation, including a full induction programme for newly qualified and experienced teachers. We provide a continuum of development through each career stage from initial teacher training (ITT), for newly qualified teachers (NQT), recently qualified teachers in their early career development, to successive stages of leadership through to Headship and beyond. 

What we are looking for:

We are looking for professional individuals who want to empower young people and will make an active contribution to the development of the academy. You will deliver consistent, high quality lessons, hold high expectations of the students and actively seek feedback to further develop your own practice. A well-qualified specialist, holding QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree, you will have the ability to teach Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
