What skills and experience we're looking for
You will:
- be an outstanding teacher of History and willing to participate in further development
- have a passion for teaching History and have the potential to inspire students with a wide range of teaching and learning strategies
- gain commitment from all students to achieve success, and have the ability to motivate students with a focus on maximising student attainment
- take part and organise events and extracurricular provision

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding practitioner to join our Humanities faculty. We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and those that are just coming into teaching. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic, driven professional to join our school in a temporary capacity to cover Maternity Leave. An excellent knowledge and understanding of the History curriculum is essential. The post will be until at least April 2024 but due to the rapid growth of the faculty and high number of students which study history this post may be extended further. ECT applicants will be welcomed.
