Court Moor School is a popular and successful school in Fleet, north Hampshire (very close to the Surrey/Berkshire borders e.g. Farnham, Guildford, Reading). We have consistently achieved some of the very best exam results in Hampshire, and the history department is one of our most impressive areas: under the dynamic leadership of the head of subject, the curriculum has been transformed and it is a very popular choice as a GCSE option. We welcome visitors to the school before application, as the vast majority of people who visit Court Moor are hugely impressed by the conduct and attitude of our students and by the warm and supportive environment. The ideal candidate will have a tangible passion and enthusiasm for history and the ability to teach in an 'agile' manner, matching their teaching to the learning needs of the students.
