History Teacher (Maternity Cover) job summary

The Governors of St Thomas More Catholic High School are seeking to appoint a good honours graduate to teach History to all abilities at KS3/4 (including a number of GCSE classes).

The Humanities Department at St Thomas More Catholic High school is an outstanding Department which achieves exceptional results. History is an important subject at both Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful applicant will be passionate about the subject, be well organised and willing to go the “extra mile” to ensure pupils achieve. This is an exciting opportunity for an inspiring teacher to contribute further to an already successful team and build on the high standards and encourage students across the age and ability range.
