Whitehouse Primary School opened in September 2016 and has been rapidly growing since then. We are at the heart of the developing community of Whitehouse and are seeking a cover supervisor/HLTA to join our Whitehouse Family. We are seeking an experienced primary cover supervisor/ HLTA to join our Whitehouse Team. As the Cover Supervisor/ HLTA for our school, you will be covering scheduled PPA across KS1 and 2 and supporting groups of children by delivering intervention and additional learning support.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Has a good understanding of the primary National Curriculum.
- Has experience covering classes from Foundation to Year 6.
- Is able to lead quality lessons through planning provided.
- Has a passion for teaching.
- Has a willingness to learn and progress.
- Is able to communicate effectively with others, have fun and be part of an amazing team.
As cover supervisor you will be required to teach independently, following guidelines outlined by the class teacher’s planning, as well as provide timely marking and feedback to support the children’s learning.
