Salary Grade 7, SCP 15 – 22 Actual salary £24,143 – £27,235 based on a 37-hour working week, term time only plus INSET days
Adelaide Heath Academy is a special school for pupils aged between 8-18 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs based in Knutsford. We are looking to recruit an HLTA who is committed to improving the outcomes and life chances of young people with complex special educational needs, and who have the ability to inspire pupils to achieve their full potential. Must be able to build positive relationships and manage pupils’ behaviour effectively within a classroom environment. An ability to be proactive, resourceful and energetic is essential.
We work hard to ensure that all pupils with whom we work feel valued and respected. We provide the support they need to learn and prepare to be active British citizens who contribute to society.
The ideal candidate will be dynamic and flexible and have the experience and ability to motivate pupils to achieve their maximum potential. There will be occasions when staff will be required to transport pupils, therefore the candidate should have a full driving licence to drive the school vehicle.
