• Contract type: Permanent
• Pay scale: G5 Points 17 to 20 (£22,406 to £23,930) depending on experience

What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking someone who:

• Has the drive, determination, and enthusiasm to enhance learning in our school
• Will support students both in the mainstream classrooms and within our provision for pupils with severe learning difficulties (SLD) and Autism
• Possesses excellent organisational and communication skills and has the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
• Has previous experience of supporting young people with SEND
• Experience with Speech and Language Intervention and Makaton is desirable as children will have varying abilities, some being non-speaking
• Creates a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that promotes positive wellbeing and mindfulness
• Will take on additional responsibilities such as leading interventions, organising rotas and recording pupils’ progress
