We are looking for an outstanding HLTA for Inclusion Support to work within the Academy’s Life Centre provision. This role will work closely with the Leader of the Life Centre to support the educational needs of the students who are taught within the Life Centre.

Ideally, the successful candidate will hold a HLTA qualification, but applications will be considered from unqualified applicants working towards or willing to work towards the qualification.

The Life Centre is based within the Academy and is a provision set up to support students who have additional behavioural or emotional needs that have led to them being removed from mainstream lessons within the Academy. The group of students taught within the Life Centre are encouraged to achieve the best qualifications they can by the Life Centre team (which consists of the Leader and a Deputy Leader of the Life Centre, plus, a full time teacher and an HLTA).

The hours of work will be 8.30 am to 3.20 pm Monday to Friday. Further part-time hours will be considered.

Sponsored by the Anglican Diocese of Gloucester, we are an Academy serving at the heart of our local community. We are an inclusive Church Academy that welcomes applications from all denominations and those of none.

The Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Shortlisted candidates will be subject to an online search in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education 2024 recommendations. Successful applicants will be subject to an enhanced DBS clearance.

All Saints’ Academy is committed to ensuring that all applicants and employees are given equal opportunities and that no applicants or employees are discriminated against on the basis of gender, gender reassignment, race, disability, pregnancy or maternity, sexual orientation, marital or civil partnership status, age or religion and belief.
