What skills and experience we're looking for

We are recruiting a HLTA to join our brand new school to take responsibility for planning and implementation of reading interventions across the Academy. The successful candidate will ensure students make accelerated progress to improve their reading age and engagement in reading.

Our HLTA will be an advocate of reading, working with academy leaders to promote and celebrate a love of reading both within class and in our state of the art library. They will also work with the Head of Department to implement, evaluate and celebrate our literacy yearly competitions and events.

Together with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, our HLTA will apply behaviour management policies and strategies which contribute to a purposeful learning environment.
