We are seeking to recruit a highly flexible, self-motivated and reliable Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated and friendly team.

We would particularly welcome applications from candidates with a specific subject interest, sporting qualifications, music, art etc.

The HLTA will:

• Cover, lead and plan classes across the school
• Have excellent behaviour management skills
• Work with class teachers to raise the learning and attainment of pupils
• Promote pupils’ independence, self-esteem and social inclusion
• Give support to pupils, individually or in groups, so they can access the curriculum, take part in learning and experience a sense of achievement

What the school offers its staff

Ideally, you will be an experienced HLTA who has a proven history of working with students within a classroom setting, 1:1 and in small groups.
