We are looking for a new HLTA/Cover Supervisor member to enable us to support growth and learning. The successful candidates will work alongside and support the class teachers across the whole school to ensure that the children you are supporting are accessing the curriculum and making positive progress in all aspects of their learning. You will liaise closely to ensure that effective support is delivered, during class or play.

About Lime Tree Primary School

Our School sits within a newly established cluster of schools, overseen by a Regional Director. Along with Limetree, our cluster includes the following other schools; Southgate Primary School, Forge Wood Primary School, Kilnwood Vale Primary School, Greenway Junior School, Salfords Primary School, Merstham Primary School .

  • To ensure effective teaching following the teacher’s planning so children learn as effectively as possible.
  • Clarifying and explaining instructions.
  • Ensuring the resources support the learning and the children are able to use equipment and materials provided.
  • Motivating and encouraging the children as required by providing levels of individual attention, reassurance and help with learning tasks as appropriate to children’s needs.
  • Be interested in a career within the school setting and working with children.
  • Be able to stay calm and objective when presented with unusual or challenging behaviour.
  • Be enthusiastic and committed to working as part of a team.
  • Be a confident and clear communicator.
  • Be committed to their development and learning.

Salary: GLF Specialist£24,982 - £33,592 FTE (pro rata £19,999 - £26,892 )

Start Date: Sep 2024
