What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to appoint an HLTA who:
- is highly motivated to support all children with their learning across Key Stage 2, enabling them to make progress and fulfil their potential.
- has experience of classroom support, working with children who have special needs
- has a wider interest in working with children, in a pastoral role
- has experience of covering lessons across key stage 2
You should have:
- Good levels of literacy and numeracy (GCSE Maths and English grade C or equivalent)
- HLTA or learning support qualification welcomed but not essential, or a willingness to undertake appropriate training (support will be provided)
- a high degree of initiative and sound judgement when working with children
- a
focus on learning outcomes and progression for all children
