HLTA job summary
Ormiston Herman Academy are looking for an ambitious, hardworking HLTA who is committed to raising attainment in our happy and friendly Primary school. The role will involve supporting class teaching, covering absence or PPA and delivering specific interventions.
The role will be working 32 hours per week for 39 working weeks per year (school term time plus 1 week). The contract will be for 1 year initially, until 31st August 2025.
Ormiston Herman Academy in Great Yarmouth is a mixed primary school for 3 to 11-year olds. The academy, in Oriel Avenue, believe in creating a safe, happy and healthy environment where children can feel positive about themselves and the academy.
Our new colleague will also benefit from being part of Ormiston Academies Trust, a MAT of 43 primary and secondary academies. The Trust’s vision is for all young people to have access to the highest academic, social and practical skills required to achieve their full potential. OAT support all staff so that they can enhance and develop their professional skills whatever their role within the trust.
