Hours: 32.5 hours per week, term-time + 5 days INSET

Start date: September 2025

Priory Academy are looking for a skilled, enthusiastic and hard-working Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support students with educational needs and lead lessons when required. This is a full-time position working term-time + 5 days’ INSET

You should have:

  • A Degree in a relevant subject or HLTA qualification
  • Experience of supporting children with special needs and safeguarding procedures
  • Experience with pupil improvement from a previous position
  • The ability to deliver (and plan) some of the curriculum with support from class teachers and the SENDCo
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to inspire and motivate pupils to make progress in their learning and achieve their potential.
