What skills and experience we're looking for
- Have a very good standard of literacy and numeracy (GCSE English and Maths)
- Have NVQ2 for Teaching Assistants (or equivalent)
- who is dedicated to the development of children with special needs
- has good classroom and behaviour management skills
- who works with a genuine child-centred approach
- be able to work as part of a team yet at times take initiative and work without close direction or supervision.
- be extremely patient, adaptable, willing to listen and have a good sense of humour

Rose Lane Primary School was established on the 1st September 2019 from the amalgamation of the Marks Gate Infant and Marks Gate Junior Schools to form a 3-form entry primary school which is on the border between Barking and Dagenham, Redbridge and Havering. The Ofsted inspections for both the former Infant and Junior schools were Good with outstanding features.
The School opened an ARP for children with autism in September 2021 initially with 6 pupils, and we now have 12 children on role. A link corridor between the lower and upper sites and additional buildings was completed at Easter 2022. This has now provide the school with an additional 4 classrooms ready for anticipated growth to 4FE.
