HLTA (SEND Support) job summary
We are actively looking to recruit and appoint a passionate, knowledgeable and experienced SEND HLTA to join a new team overseeing a dedicated SEND resource base at Ormiston Latimer Academy.
The key aspect of the role is to work alongside the Lead SEND Teacher and SENCO to plan and deliver lessons and activities to support the individual children within the class. You will be able to support the teacher in leading the class, including when the teacher is not present. In addition to this, the successful candidate will participate in the design and implementation of Provision Maps with the teacher and SENCO. Duties will include monitoring the progress of pupils both educationally and socially on a plan, do and review cycle.
