HLTA job summary
Stanley St Peter's Church of England Primary School is looking to recruit a HLTA. This exciting opportunity is open to existing HLTAs or those new to this higher level of responsibility. The successful candidate will be energetic, keen and self motivated. They also need the skills to be able to cover teaching from Nursery to Year 6.
The school is part of a strong, nurturing community and we take pride in our positive ethos that permeates through all staff and children. The post holder can expect support from school leadership and further professional development.
The successful candidate will:
1. be committed to the Christian ethos of the school
2. be organised and able to work across school
3. have high expectations for children's work and behaviour
4. have experience of supporting children within a school setting
In accordance with the Childcare (Disqualification) Regulations 2009, if you are shortlisted for this post you will be required to declare that you are not Disqualified (or Disqualified by Association) from working within this setting.
The successful applicant will be required to complete a Disclosure Application Form and to provide criminal conviction information.
