What skills and experience we're looking for
The HLTA (Communication and Interaction) with the support of the SENCO, supports the day-to-day operation of provision made by the school for pupils who need support for communication and interaction. They provide professional guidance in this area in order to secure high quality teaching and the effective use of resources to bring about improved standards of the achievement of all pupils.

Commitment to safeguarding
At Stone Lodge our approach to safeguarding is child-centred and we consider at all times the best interest of the child.
We have a designated safeguarding lead, who provides support to staff members to carry out their safeguarding duties and liaises with other agencies such as children’s social care.
Mr Barnett is also a safeguarding lead and regular meetings are held to discuss any ongoing safeguarding or welfare concerns.
All staff members receive safeguarding and child protection training which is regularly updated.
