About the Job:
We wish to appoint a Head of Psychology and Sociology to work across KS4 and KS5. The role is available for January 2021. A TLR may also be available for the right candidate. The department achieves very good results at GCSE and A Level. Students follow the AQA syllabus at GCSE and A level for both subjects. All students are taught in mixed ability classes. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a track record of improving student outcomes in psychology and sociology and an ability to motivate and support departmental teachers.
