Finham Park 2 is an exciting new co-educational academy in Coventry that opened in September 2015. Already a popular choice with local parents, we have a full cohort of Years 7 to 11 students. Our students are smart, thoughtful, inquisitive, well-behaved and polite; on entry they are significantly above the national average for attainment in English and Mathematics.
The school was set up by leaders from the ‘Outstanding’ (2015) Finham Park School and is proud to be part of and supported by the Finham Park Multi Academy Trust.
The Governors are seeking to appoint a professional and enthusiastic Home School Liaison/ Education Welfare Officer to support children whose education is at risk due to attendance related issues. To take particular note of attendance issues with vulnerable groups especially Looked After Children, SEN, FSM/PP, EAL and to take appropriate action as necessary. To assess need, implement effective action and evaluate outcomes against agreed objectives. The successful applicant will join a growing team of support staff who are committed to supporting the teaching staff to ensure that Finham Park 2 students have the best educational “experience” possible.

Finham Park 2 is an exciting, innovative, friendly and supportive 11-19 co-educational comprehensive school based on the West side of Coventry near the border of Solihull and close to Warwick University.
We opened in September 2015 with 120 students and are growing year on year until we reach our full size of 800, including sixth form, by 2021. In September 2016 we moved to our new building- a light and spacious, high quality refurbishment with superb facilities including a brand new sports hall.
