Home School Link Worker job summary

Shrivenham CE Primary School is looking to appoint a Home School Link Worker to join our existing team who are dedicated to making a difference for all our pupils. We are looking for a resilient, reliable and supportive individual who will support us to deliver a high-quality education provision to our pupils. You will need good communication skills and plenty of energy.

The Home School Link Worker role involves working collaboratively with families, children, and the school to provide early intervention, signposting, support and guidance. They will need to have strong links to other professionals and outside agencies and form positive working relationships with families to enable effective support for pupils and their families.

The Home School Link Worker will be required to become one of our Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs) and lead Early Help Assessments (EHA), attend Team Around the Family (TAF) and Education Health Care Plan (EHCP) Annual Review Meetings. There will be a requirement to carry out home visits to support families and children and to work on your own as and when this is necessary. The successful candidates will compliment the team at our school, demonstrate a commitment to learning and enjoy working with children of all abilities.
