Hospital Teacher - Royal Stoke University Hospital job summary
We are seeking to appoint an innovative primary or secondary teacher with QTS to deliver lessons to students at UHNM hospital classroom and at the bedside. Applications are invited from inspiring teachers who want to develop their experience outside the classroom and make a real difference to the lives of vulnerable students.
Merit is a pupil referral service for students with medical and mental health needs. We are seeking teachers who would be able to deliver lessons for children who cannot attend school and require tuition. This is a rewarding, flexible and varied role that involves working closely with students, schools, parents and other outside agencies to ensure the best possible educational outcomes.
If you are an experienced and effective teacher who would be interested in joining our friendly and supportive Hospital and PRU team we would welcome your application. This role is a 12 month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave with the potential for additional hours.
Start date 1st March 2022
9.75 hours per week, work pattern Monday, Thursday and Friday 1pm to 4.15pm.
