HR & Administration Assistant job summary

Our experienced Head teacher and her supportive senior leadership team are looking to recruit an HR and Admin assistant on a part time basis to work in their school office. The role will be for two days per week between the hours of 08.20-16.20 and term time only.

Key responsibilities include:

  • To provide HR and admin support to the School Business Manager
  • To provide admin support to the Premises Manager
  • Provide a reception service including answering and dealing with telephone enquiries, taking and acting on messages, issuing and retrieving passes, dealing with correspondence and any other task required during a school day.
  • Provide clerical support to other members of staff.
  • Manage administrative procedures including termly census, school workforce census etc.
