HR Administrator job summary

Position: Human Resources Administrator
Location: Sir William Robertson Academy, Welbourn (with travel to other Trust schools)

Aspire Schools Trust is seeking to appoint a skilled and organised Human Resources Administrator to work closely with the Trust Director of People & Wellbeing and the Senior Leadership Teams. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating, implementing, and maintaining HR and payroll processes while supporting the Trust's mission to attract, develop, reward, and retain our staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage payroll and pension administration, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
  • Support recruitment, induction, and onboarding processes in collaboration with school HR leads.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support across all HR functions to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist with Trust-wide HR and administrative tasks including responding to and helping structure the schools and trust responses to SAR requests.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately to meet statutory deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal) to build effective relationships with staff and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in IT and capable of using HR systems to manage tasks effectively.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

This position will initially be based at Sir William Robertson Academy, Main Road, Welbourn, LN5 0PA. However, the successful candidate will be expected to travel to other schools within the Trust as needed.
