HR Advisor - Cambridgeshire job summary
We are seeking an HR Advisor to provide an excellent advisory service to our Cambridge Academies.
This role will be part time over 3.5 days a week and we will consider a flexible pattern. You will be required to spend your time in the academies providing an exemplary service supporting the Principals and Operational teams, becoming embedded as an extended member of their team.
The attendance with academies will be determined by need with the initial period likely to be based in St Neots. The site locations are St Neots, St Ives, Cottenham and Cambridge.
During school holiday periods, this post will be based from home however we welcome attendance periodically in Sheffield, to facilitate team building and relationships with the wider team.
As a valued member of our central team, you will work in collaboration with our wider team of HR advisors based in South Yorkshire. You will report to the HR business Partner who will work within Cambridge ,when required, to support you and give guidance for your personal development

- An experienced HR Advisor providing expert advice to our academies and to our people in a timely manner, able to manage your time and case work effectively
- You will need to be able to evidence demonstrable experience of managing casework and employment law knowledge. You will be required to undertake complex case work as required, both coaching and mentoring others through this process as part of our commitment to learning and development
- Being a trusted advisor: supporting the Principals on all things staffing and HR, guiding them through employee relations and employment law
- You will need to support and contribute to the people team and strategic initiatives in creating happy, thriving teams, addressing challenges and capitalising on opportunities
- Experience of working with Trade Unions, developing collaborative and constructive industrial relations at school level is desirable
- Experience of the Multi Academy Trust sector is desirable but not essential
