What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for an HR and Office Manager who has:
- NVQ3 or equivalent qualification or experience in the relevant discipline
- A high level of personal organisation
- Excellent English/Mathematics skills
- Effective use of specialist ICT packages, e.g. Sims, Parentpay, Microsoft Office
- Experience of development, management and operation of administrative systems
- Ability to work constructively as part of a team, understanding school roles and responsibilities and your own position within these.
- Ability to prioritise and work effectively in dealing with conflicting demands
- Ability to relate well to staff, parents and the community

The post holder will be responsible for:
- Line management of the Administrator Receptionist and the Attendance, Admissions and Welfare Officer
- Accountable for the management, efficiency and administration of the school’s Human Resources and payroll systems
- Responsible for the smooth running of the school’s office functions
- Undertaking DBS checks and maintaining the Single Central Record
- Responsible for all processes relating to recruitment, such as advertising, references and induction
- Manage the use of IT systems, including the school’s Management Information System (Sims) for pupil and staff records
- Overseeing the school’s compliance to data protection legislation and key point of contact for data protection matters.
- Support marketing of the school, including management of the school website
- Act as confidential Personal Assistant to the Senior Leadership team.
- Providing in-school administrative support to the Governing Board
