Location: ELAN Central Team, Locking, Weston-super-Mare

Actual salary:  £23,089.00 per annum

Hours: 37 hours per week (flexibility on hours available), term-time only

Contract: Permanent

Key responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for HR and payroll queries.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and process payroll data.
  • Support recruitment campaigns and pre-employment checks (DBS, right-to-work).
  • Oversee absence management and occupational health referrals.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding and employment legislation.
  • Prepare reports and maintain HR and payroll systems.

What we’re looking for

  • Strong IT skills, including MS Word and advanced Excel.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Previous HR administration and payroll experience.
  • Maths GCSE Grade C/4 minimum or a Functional Skills Level 2 qualification.
  • English GCSE Grade C/4 minimum.
