HR at Gatehouse Green Learning Trust
The GGLT Human Resources (HR) team are responsible for the delivery of a pro-active, professional, customer-focused, effective, and efficient service across the whole spectrum of HR activity; recruitment and selection, pre-employment and induction, policy development, absence management, performance management, employee relations, change management, pay and reward, learning and development and employee engagement and wellbeing.

We work closely with central GGLT management at all levels and help to shape organisational culture by having a sound understanding of the strategic agenda and ensuring our HR activities are aligned to our school’s objectives and promote the effective decision-making which contributes to the wider success of our Schools and the achievement of our staff and students.
The Trust currently employs approximately 450 people across five schools; these comprise two Secondary Schools – Redland Green and Ashton Park, and three primary schools. With the requirement to service multi sites our HR team work flexibility to support each other and the workforce, so teamwork, information sharing and excellent communication skills are critical skills for all our team members.
