About this Role
St Barnabas MAT supports 14 schools for primary aged children in 5 geographical hubs across Cornwall. Currently, we employ over 220 staff and educate 1,450 children.

The Trust school improvement team work with our schools to support them to develop and maintain high standards of teaching and learning and pupil outcomes.
The Trust central team work to ensure our schools have the resources they require to deliver a first class education. They support the financial and administrative smooth running of our schools.
The HR Manager role is key to the delivery of our vision, with proactive collaboration and staff development support is at its core.
We are seeking to appoint an exceptional, emerging practitioner as our HR Manager who will role model fulfilling the vision of St Barnabas MAT through their supportive style. They need to be a strategic operator, who will best develop the people strategy at St Barnabas MAT across the various school communities and Central. The HR Manager will inspire, motivate and develop teams, centrally and across the schools, towards operational excellence. They will always promote and safeguard the welfare of pupils and staff and provide an appropriate combination of challenge, collaboration and support to raise standards.
