HR Manager job summary

The Sir John Brunner Foundation is looking to appoint a HR Manager to lead the HR Services Team and work alongside the HR Business Partners who in turn support each Academy.

The post will be responsible for overseeing the efficient delivery of transactional HR services across the Foundation by leading a dedicated team, to manage the full lifecycle of HR and Payroll processes from recruitment to offboarding, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies.

The successful candidate will have good all round experience of managing HR in a complex organisation as well as a good understanding of payroll processes. Success in post will be driven by a candidate who is logical and pragmatic, works proactively with strong leadership and effective communication skills.

This is an exciting time to be joining our newly established central HR team and to put your expertise in practice to facilitate the continuing success of our Multi Academy Trust, of three High Schools and a Sixth Form College.

Each of our good and outstanding academies operates at the heart of their local communities. The Foundation’s central offices are based at Sir John Deane’s Sixth Form College campus set in beautiful grounds.
